Mylestom is a small place which hosts retirees and holiday makers, so imagine our surprise when we found out that the Bowling Club just down by the park boasted a Chinese Restaurant. We dined there twice and both times we left very satisfied and satiated. The restaurant is part of the bowling club and you get your drinks from the club. All meals were plentiful and wry tasty and prices are reasonable. Very authentic and service was quick and the staff very efficient. Lovely addition to the NCHP in Mylestom and yes, there is a courtesy bus as well.

Chan's Chinese Restaurant

Small Chinese restaurant attached to the Mylestom Bowling Club. Decent sized seating, both inside and out and allowed to use the club&#39;s seating if full. Staff are efficient and polite, food came out hot and fast and they perfectly timed courses. The staff worked fantasically as a team, everything was timed perfectly, cleaning up to bringing out food. Menu was average price ranging from $13-$23 for mains. However putting thay into perspective they try to use &quot;fresh local ingredients&quot; as often as possible. The Mongolian Lamb was to die for. Not too much veg and plenty of meat and sauce. The quality of the meal was unquestionable, as they use eye fillet slices of about 1cm thick. It was tender and juicy and they even do a &#39;mild&#39; Mongolian Lamb on request that would be &quot;suitable for kids&quot;. Honey chicken had real juicy chicken breast strips and not too much batter and was perfectly cooked to a light golden colour. Will definitely be returning. 20 mins south of Coffs Harbour and well worth the drive.

The food is lovely and such big serves. All the staff are happy and helpful. The restaurant isn&#39;t very big, but is in a Bowls Club, so larger arrears are available.

This is our favourite local restaurant for either takeaway or restaurant service. The food is always fresh and tasty. We love the Seafood Special, Lemon Chicken, Schezwan fried Tofu and Vegetables, and the combination Omelette. The Singapore Noodles and Pork Satay are also great. Over time we have tried nearly all the dishes and found them to all be good. Service is good and prices are reasonable.
